Online and Continuing Education Scholarship SNHU: Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) provides a variety of scholarships and grants to online and on-campus students to help them with tuition payments.
Scholarships and awards available to SNHU online students include:
Merit Scholarship: granted to students who are Phi Theta Kappa members or SNHU alumni.
Federal Pell Grants are granted to undergraduate students based on the number of course credits completed, extraordinary financial needs, and yearly anticipated family contribution (EFC) reported in their FAFSA applications.
The School of Business Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in SNHU business programs who meet academic or need requirements.
Scholarships and grants available to SNHU campus students include:
Veterans Scholarship: granted to campus and online Vietnam War veterans, active military personnel, veteran families, and current SNHU students who meet academic or need eligibility standards.
The New Hampshire Governor’s Scholarship is offered to first-year, full-time students who are New Hampshire residents and graduated from an NH high school.
Online and Continuing Education Scholarship SNHU are provided to full-time undergraduate day students who meet the financial need eligibility conditions outlined in their FAFSA applications.

Summary of the Online and Continuing Education Scholarship SNHU
As one of Pennsylvania’s 14 public community colleges, Community College of Philadelphia has signed a program-to-program transfer agreement with Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education. To profit from this arrangement, students must first complete an appropriate associate degree.
Notes: Academic courses with a grade of “C-” or higher will be evaluated for transfer based on individual circumstances.

Students enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education can transfer up to 90 hours toward a bachelor’s degree.
Students who meet Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education residence criteria can earn an infinite number of credits by doing the following:
CLEP, DANTES, and Excelsior, military training (based on an American Council on Education (ACE), College Credit Recommendation Service, or Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) transcript), and ACE or National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) credit.
Transfer credit from these third parties will be examined on an individual basis and provided following Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education degree program standards.
Students must complete 30 credit hours (or ten classes) to meet Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education residence requirements.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
As part of this agreement, the following benefits are provided to qualifying Community College of Philadelphia alumni, workers, and their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, children, siblings, and parents):
Application fee waiver for Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education.
Tuition decrease of ten percent (10%) for Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education courses.
To be eligible for these two benefits, individuals must notify Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education admissions representatives of their relationship with Community College of Philadelphia, as well as indicate their relationship with Southern New Hampshire University’s College of Online and Continuing Education application form.
Southern New Hampshire University programs with military tuition support levels are not subject to this reduction.
